My father's father was a sailor and he abandoned my father, just like my father abandoned me and my mother and he never came back. I made this costume first for a Do-Theatre production, 'Piat', in Moscow. I was not completely satisfied with the way it was used. Later, I made the same design for myself with some special effects.
